Heeeeeey theree~ So today I'll be reviewing:
This is a cream blush by Etude House in their Miss Tangerine range! Let's start with the review!
Packaging:
Comes in a nice squeezable tube with a with cap. Twisted to open! I think the packaging is nice and since the cream blush is quite think, it's quite easy to control the amount you want to get. It's also convenient to bring around.
Rate: ★★★★★
Consistency:
It's quite like a thick consistency when you squeeze it out of the tube in one blob but when you blend it has a thick mousse consistency. Can be quite hard to blend on your cheeks when you first brought it because they can end up looking uneven on both your cheeks. But after some practice, they work well!!
Rate: ★★★☆☆
Pigmentation:
The one I got is the #1 shade in Miss Tangerine which I've read alot of reviews saying this is the most pigmented out of the 4 cream blush they've released. Here are some swatches on my wrist:
If you swatch it on your hand, they look really....intimidating to use on your cheeks but they are actually look really light and natural on your cheeks!
So usually I get a blob on my finger, place that on one of the apples of my cheek and dot them up til my cheekbone. Then I pat them with my finger back and forth to blend them. If you rub then on your cheeks, they will look messy and you might have to reapply to get the pigmentation you want.
Overall for pigmentation, they're really light and looks really natural on your cheek. Not very pigmented but is build-able.
Rate: ★★★☆☆
Staying power:
Probably the only downside of this cream blush is the staying power. They can probably only stay on your cheeks for around 2 hours.
Rate: ★★☆☆☆
Colour range:
They only have these 4 colours in their line and I've read reviews that the 'Miss Tangerine' is the most pigmented. It's great for a natural everyday look but they may not suite people with darker skin tones because these colours probably won't show much.
Rate: ★★★☆☆
Pricing:
I don't remember anymore but I got it for less than BND$15 in a etude house branch. Probably cost alot less in Korea. It's affordable and there's alot of product.
Rate: ★★★★☆
-Gives a very natural finish.
-Does not break me out.
-Matte finish
-Nice consistency
-Convenient packaging
-Affordable
Cons:
-Doesn't last very long.
-Hard to apply for a nice even finish.
-Stain your fingers
-Inconvenient to apply
-Not suitable with people with dark skin tones.
Will I repurchase?
No. I think cream blushers are harder to work with than powder blushers and they stain your finger as well. I think powder blushers works better for me!
See you guys next time~
-With love, Reeneyy. ❤
