HIHI. So today I'll be reviewing:
I got these because I was looking for an eye cream back then and I saw these when my mom was shopping in The body shop. So the reason I got 2 was because...we were almost reaching the price for the promotional free gifts, so yea. I've been using them for probably 4 months now and I'm almost finishing my first container. As you can see:
So let's start with the review!
There's no description of what the product does on the container so I went and google. This is what they promised:
"This elderflower-enriched gel cools skin in the delicate eye area.Cooling. Refreshing."and I found out they're also called, 'Elderflower cooling eye gel'.
Packaging:
Comes in a plastic container and black cap. Turned to open.
You can peel the sticker on top of the cap to view the ingredients! (Sorry, I found out the top part of the ingredients were quite blur.) I don't have much complain about the packaging but some people may not like dipping their finger to get the product. But then again, you're applying the eye gel with your finger too right? Shouldn't your finger be clean in the first place?

Consistency:
It's a very lightweight gel, sort of like water. Not sticky at all. But unlike water, they are not runny. Just touch the gel with your finger and you can get your product!
I like how this gel doesn't leave ANY residue behind. It's reaally like water. Just, gel-water and it absorbs fast too!

Scent:
Yes. It's really unscented.

Cooling:
Since it's a gel product, you can put this in your fridge and get that cooling effect on your eyes upon application. I don't really think that does much difference because you're only applying a small amount and the gel gets warmed by your finger when you pick up the product. With that aside, I think it's a good eye gel to apply early in the morning or before you sleep. Really makes my eyes feel refreshed for school and it hydrates my eyes when I apply it at night.

Reducing fine lines/ dark circles/ puffy eyes:
I know this product does not promise any of these but I have to say, I'm really impressed by this gel. It really helps to soothe down those puffy eyes in the morning and in long term use, I realized that my fine lines are all gone. I'm a teenager and I have a few fine lines because I rub my eyes ALOT. I know this may not work for adults though. My dark circles are still the same. (meh, not enough sleep)

My Overall 2cents:
I think this would be a great eye gel for teenagers and ONLY teenagers(sadly) especially if they're hunting down for eye cream. This a good eye product to start with. My eyes looked more youthful and tit bit brighter now.

Pricing:
The body shop branch, retails for around BND$16 I think. Which is quite affordable for an eye gel.

Will I repurchase?
Probably not after I finished my 2nd one. I've been wanting to try skin food's salmon eye cream. This is a great product to start with but, it's not exactly a heavy duty kind of a product.
That's all, I went on longer that I wanted to. Hope it was not boring. Any questions about the product, just comment down below~~
-With love, Reeneyy. ❤
Update!
I've finished my 2nd jar and I went to try out The face shop's eye cream from their Chia Seed line. I didn't like that one cause I kept feeling that this eye gel was more lightweight and hydrating. So...I got my 3rd jar! Currently using it and loving it! My fine lines under my eyes increased when I change my eye cream so I have to say, this eye gel does work pretty well! Totally recommend it to people from 16-20 years old!!
