[Foodtalk] Baking cupcakesss~!

I was reaally bored yesterday since my exam is over and there's no school. When there's school, I wish I could get a day off and when they're no school, I'm bored to death. So weirrrd. But in all honesty, I prefer going to school and be all busy rather than being a couch potato all day watching korean drama that I've watched more than ten thousand times.

Okay, so I tried out 2 recipes that I found from youtube that I've always been tempted to try but has always been busy.

First is, chocolate muffins from a channel that I just discovered a few days ago when I was looking for some mooncake recipes. Since it's mooncake festival and...usually mooncakes that are yummy cost alot and cheap ones are hard..and meh.

Plus, since the creator of this channel is a Singaporean, it will be so much easier for me to find the ingredients since I live in an asian country as well. Usually if I encounter an ingredient that I've never heard of, it's obvious that there's no point asking where I can get it cause the reply would be '...at your local -----', which.....yea. I have no excess of.

The instructions were really clear and it was pretty easy so I decided to give it a try!
Here's my end results~~~
Still on the cooling rack:

 On the plates!

I like how its golden brown on top and cracked a little. It's soft in the inside and crunchy on the outside. I think it's perfect with some coffee or hot chocolate early in the morning!

The the second recipe I tried was red velvet cupcakees! I'm not really obsessed with cupcakes (only bubble tea) so I have no expectations of how good this would taste but I totally lovedddd it!!

And again , this recipe is super easy and the cupcakes taste AWESOMEEEE! NO JOKE. I think it taste better than those that I tried outside. The cream cheese frosting was TO-DIE-FOR.

The cupcake is moist and rich with cocoa flavour topped off with some sweet cream cheese. Just awesome. I liked how the cream cheese is not suuuper sweet but my parents still complained it's sweet. Okay, maybe I'm quite a sweet tooth. Just reduce the amount of icing sugar, then it's all good.

Okay, that's all for now~~ Bbyong~
-With love, Reeneyy.
